DEVO 12.30.24

DEVO. 12.30.24

“I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.” (‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- At the end of the Bible, Revelation 21:3, there is a loud shout that comes from the throne of God.

- If it’s a shout, then that means it’s a loud announcement, for all to hear!

- These words are words that everyone is meant to hear!

- Here is the shout: “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.”

- ‭‭I think it’s amazing how, in the beginning, the Lord would walk with man in the garden.

- When they sinned, they broke the fellowship, but all along, that has always been His desire!

- He wants to be with His people!

- He wants to walk with you and be with you just like He did in the beginning.

- That has been what He has been fighting for all along and what He continues to fight for!

- He wants to be close to you and He wants you to know Him.

- And finally, in the end, the shout goes out: “God’s home is now among his people!”

- It’s almost as if God is saying, “Finally! I can be with them!”

- Do you know that’s Gods greatest desire for you?

- He just want to be with you!

- Will you slow down long enough to listen and hear Him?

- He wants to tell you that you are loved!

- He wants to you stop striving and working so hard, trying to prove yourself to others and let you know that you are already accepted!

- Don’t go on throughout your day without first accepting His love.

- When you get alone with Him, you will hear Him say, “Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matt. 11‬:‭28‬-‭30‬ ‭MSG‬‬)

- Have a great Monday!
