“He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as he did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.” (1 Corinthians 1:2 NLT)
- Do you know that you are God’s Holy people.
- Holy is defined as “exalted or worthy of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness.” (Mariam-Webster)
- “Perfect in goodness”! There is no way that you can attain that on your own! I don’t care how good you are.
- But God says, “He made you Holy”
- So, by Gods definition, you ARE Holy!
- You are Holy, not by anything that you have done, but because of what Jesus Christ has done for you!
- The Amplified says, that you are, “sanctified (set apart, made holy) in Christ Jesus”
- It happened, the moment that you called on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Jesus did the work, with His death on the cross, burial and resurrection from the grave!
- He did the work and then, you accepted what He did as payment in full for your sins and then received His righteousness.
- You cannot, in any way, make yourself “more holy”, than what Christ has done.
- What an amazing gift!
- Today, you simply live out, what Christ has done in you!
- You are not working to be something, you are living out what you already have!
- So, today, know who you are; know what you have, and live it out!
