DEVO. 06.04.24
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16 NIV)
- Are you confident?
- Not in your own strength or ability, but are you confident in approaching the throne of God.
- Because Christ sympathizes with our weaknesses, we can confidently approach the heavenly throne.
- Your confidence means that you know that your prayers are welcomed by your Heavenly Father.
- He wants to hear your voice and desires to see you.
- You never have to see yourself as guilty or shameful.
- You can hold your heard high.
- Your Father sees you through the Blood of Jesus Christ.
- You are righteous with His righteousness.
- If you have any sin in your life, you repent and turn from whatever it is and receive his cleansing.
- You are in right standing before God.
- You “receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
- Never come to Him full of pride or “self-achievement”
- Proverbs 16:18 says, “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”
- Pride is a recipe for destruction.
- But as you come to the Lord in prayer, today, “Receive His mercy and find His grace”.
- Embrace it and walk in His grace and mercy, today! That is your help!
- From the throne of Grace flows Gods love, help, mercy, forgiveness, spiritual power, spiritual filling, spiritual gifts and the fruit of the Spirit that we need under any circumstance!
- Today, be confident in Him!
- He has equipped you for all that you will face in the day ahead!
- God bless you! Have a great Tuesday!
