DEVO.01.14.25
“Sarah declared, “God has brought me laughter. All who hear about this will laugh with me.” (Genesis 21:6 NLT)
- Do you have dreams and promises of God stored up in your heart?
- Are your promises so big that if God fulfilled it, you would literally laugh?
- If not, then I believe that you need to get away with God and spend enough time where you get some laughable promises!
- Things that are outlandish!
- Promises where people would call you ridiculous.
- Dreams that require faith in the God of the impossible!
- Now, write them down and begin committing them to the Lord.
- Begin to see it fulfilled in your spiritual eyes!
- Maybe it’s a child, a job, a healing, a car, a relationship or a financial blessing.
- Whatever it is, you should be able to say, “I am going to laugh when God does this!”
- Our God of the impossible loves to fulfill impossible dreams.
- In Genesis 18:13, God told Abraham and Sarah that she would have a son.
- They were well past the age of being able to have children.
- Abraham was 75 yrs old when the promise was given and he was 100 yrs old and Sarah was 90 yrs old when Isaac was born.
- You may think that’s ridiculous but in Genesis 18:14 it says, “Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.””
- Hold onto that scripture!
- “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
- What have you already decided is to hard for the Lord?
- What promises have you discarded because you have decided that God cannot do it!
- What dreams have you laid down?
- Today, pick them back up, begin to pray and commit it to the Lord.
- Genesis 21:6 says, “And Sarah declared, “God has brought me laughter. All who hear about this will laugh with me.”
- Genesis 21:1 says, “The Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised.”
- God will do exactly as He has promised!
- Our biggest problem is that we limit our dreams to “only what we can do.
- We dismiss the miraculous power of God and settle for the ordinary!
- Today, remember your laughable dreams and prepare to laugh!
- It may take 1 year, 5 years or 25 yrs but if God is in it He will fulfill it in His perfect time!
